Career options after graduation

Some of students have doubt that What are the career options after completing your graduation? I am listing few of them in this article.

1. MBA (Master of Business Administration)

The best option if you want to stay in India and earn a handsome package is complete an MBA degree but only from a reputed college. The reputed colleges include IIMS, XLRI, MDI, S.P.Jain Institute, IIFT etc. The average package of above colleges is 8-9 lakhs per anuum or more.

But it is suggested that you firstly do a job for one/two years and then complete MBA. It is because with work experience you will get easier admission and higher package.

Admission:

Admission in MBA program is through tests like CAT, MAT or individual college has their separate tests.

Some colleges make it mandatory to fill forms before result declaration. So lot of money of students is wasted.

2. MS (Master of Science)

For this you have to go outside India. Universities offer Scholarship depending upon your score in entrance test, your college status, work experience etc. After completion of MS great packages are offered by different companies. Duration is two years.

Admission:

Admission is through GRE test. The score of test is valid for five years. Means you can join MS program even after five years depending upon your previous score. There are two portions in the test: Maths and English. Math portion is very easy. For English there is a book known as “BARRON”. You have to cram 3500 words given in this book.

3. M.Tech (Master of Technology)

M.Tech is next level of B.Tech. The package difference from B.tech is 50-60k per year. So most B.E/B.Tech students do not prefer to go for it. M.tech offered by IITs and other reputed colleges have much value.

Admission:

Admission to M.Tech program is through national level test GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) in which knowledge of your B.Tech is tested.
